Report: Denmark Adopting QALY in Cost-Effectiveness Assessments

Beginning in October, the Danish Medicines Council will use the quality-adjusted life year (QALY) metric in its cost-effectiveness assessments, The Pink Sheet reports.
According to the report, using the QALY will mean more time to a recommendation, but the council says it should boost transparency in its decisions.
