Dr. Megan Gower serves as clinical scientist on the Takeda US Medical Value and Evidence Generation Clinical Research team. In her role at Takeda, Megan oversees the development of clinical trial designs (phase IV and collaborative), study conduct, synopsis and protocol development and project alignment with therapeutic area strategy (Immunology-PDT, Transplant, Gastroenterology, Rare Endocrine). Prior to joining Takeda, she served as a clinical scientist in early-stage clinical development. Megan was responsible for various clinical scientist activities to support product development from FIH studies through NDA submission and beyond. Megan earned her undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of South Florida, received her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from South College School of Pharmacy, and completed a fellowship in Clinical Research and Drug Development with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and PPD. She also has experience in real-world evidence analysis, competitive intelligence, platform development and functionality assessment.
