Beijing Investigating Woman Who Entered Country with COVID-19 Symptoms

Beijing authorities have opened an investigation into a woman, surnamed Li, who reportedly entered China to attend a company meeting while suffering from COVID-19 symptoms, according to a FiercePharma report.
While authorities have not revealed the woman’s work affiliation, FiercePharma reports she may have attended a Biogen leadership conference.
“Though the exact identity of Li’s employer is still under wraps, authorities said she attended a company meeting Feb. 26-27, the exact days Biogen’s 175-person leadership conference took place,” the report states.
