October 1, 2020

Xtelligent Healthcare media has revealed results from a new survey showing that private payers are more likely than public payers to participate in value-based reimbursement models. The survey, Payer Perceptions of Value-Based Care, outlines the opportunities and challenges inherent in provider-payer relationships during value-based contracting.

“Fee-for-service has always been the way healthcare is delivered. Physicians always want patients to get better.”

The report focuses on four themes: value-based care models, providers resources for assisting payers in value-based care efforts, payer confidence in provider partnerships, and the effect of COVID-19 on provider partnerships. Read more here.
