Pharma Gears Up for Pricing Battle as Democrats Scale Back Legislation

Democrats are gradually reducing the scope of legislation intended to reduce drug prices. The pharmaceutical industry has voiced its opposition to any policies limiting price tags, including legislation granting Medicare the power to negotiate drug costs. The final outcome remains uncertain.
