OM1 Launches Real-World Data Network for Neuroscience and Mental Health

March 31, 2022

Despite growing understanding of the brain and psychology, treatments for mental health and neurological conditions are lagging. To help rectify this situation, the tech-enabled real-world data and artificial intelligence (AI) company OM1 has just launched its Mental Health and Neuroscience Specialist Area. Helmed by Dr. Carl D. Marci, the division will focus on psychiatric disorders and central nervous system (CNS) diseases such as depression,  schizophrenia, and multiple sclerosis (MS) using a new robust dataset.

According to OM1, “Real-world data with clinical depth and nuance are critically needed to understand disease progression, patient characteristics, condition subtypes and variations — as well as the costs and clinical outcomes of new and existing treatments. These data are now available from OM1 to be used to accelerate medical research and FDA approvals of new therapies and to help partners deliver the right treatment for the right patients at the right time.”
