NHLBI and ACC Announce Innovation Showcase on April 1st Featuring Many Exciting Cardiovascular Startups

The NHLBI (National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute) and ACC (American College of Cardiology) have partnered to host the very first Innovation Showcase. The event will take place on April 1st, from 7 – 9 PM ET. Panel discussions will feature six emerging companies: Dyad Medical, HEMOTAG, InvivoSciences, PinMed Inc, SentiAR, and Sonavex. These companies have expertise in medical imaging, cardiac function assessment, heart failure therapies, cardiovascular monitoring technology, wearables, a cardiac ablation guidance system, and in improving arteriovenous fistulas using deep learning methods. The panel discussion will center on important considerations for commercializing cardiovascular innovations. The showcase will also provide networking opportunities.
“We have selected six healthcare start-up companies to present. Each presentation will end with a brief Q&A with our panelists.
