New GoodRx Report Reveals Price Hikes on Over 800 Drugs

Drug manufacturers are increasing prices on over 800 drugs by an average of 5.1%, according to a newly released report by GoodRx. The report, which covered drugs from 155 manufacturers, indicates that several expensive, high-profile drugs are getting pricier yet again. This includes the cancer immunotherapies Opdivo and Jemperli as well as AbbVie’s Humira.

According to Paul Schoesser of Endpoint News, “AbbVie’s Humira, along with potential Humira successors Rinvoq and Skyrizi, went up 7.4% this year. This occurred right around the same time that AbbVie CEO Rick Gonzalez said that Rinvoq and Skyrizi combined would essentially be Humira 2.0 plus atopic dermatitis in a Q4 call earlier this month.”
