New CMS Innovation Appointment Could Affect Medicare Drug Pricing Policy

Elizabeth Fowler has been appointed director of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI). Her previous roles will provide unique insight and experience in her new position. This CMMI appointment could markedly help the Biden administration by providing a route for drug pricing regulation outside of Congress.
