Medicare “negotiation” proposals threaten Americans’ access to medicines

While more than 90% of seniors and people with disabilities report that they are very satisfied with their Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage, they also acknowledge concerns with rising out-of-pocket costs. It is no surprise that this has been a recurring discussion on Capitol Hill with many putting forth proposals aimed at lowering the cost of medicines, including principles released by Senator Wyden just last week.
