ISPOR Webinar: Accelerating Patient Access to Next Generation Sequencing

The future of personalized oncology care depends on next-generation sequencing (NGS). However, the adoption of this technology is held back by barriers to access, dangling potentially lifesaving care just out of many patients’ reach. Breaking down these barriers and bringing NGS is the topic of an upcoming webinar taking place on May 2^nd, 2022.

According to ISPOR, “The panel discussion will cover the different barriers preventing the uptake of NGS, including a lack of prioritization in healthcare decision-making, the regulatory and value assessment process and reimbursement and funding challenges. All of these are exacerbated by a lack of understanding and awareness by stakeholders. The panelists will discuss how to fast-track policy solutions that could address the barriers preventing patient access to NGS and identify the ones that should be prioritized.”
