Highlights from AMCP 2022

The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy convened last week for its annual meeting, bringing nearly 3,000 pharmacists and other healthcare workers to McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. The meeting hosted sessions for a variety of presentations, including drug spending trends, potential drug pricing regulations, and reimbursement of new digital therapeutics.

According to an article on Managed Care Executive, “AMCP officials pointed to a Tuesday afternoon session on bias led by Kali Cyrus as one of the innovation of this year’s meetings. Cyrus, M.D., M.P.H., is a psychiatrist and an assistant professor at Johns Hopkins who offers consulting services on resolving conflicts arising from identify differences.”
