Cures 2.0 Key Points Include New $6.5 Billion Federal Research Agency and Expanded RWD in Clinical Trials

Cures 2.0 was introduced on June 22nd. The proposed bipartisan legislation includes components that center on diversifying clinical trials and broadening the use of real world data (RWD). $6.5 billion would be allocated to create the Advances Research Projects Agency for Health, a federal research agency that would study cancer and Alzheimer’s disease, among other diseases.
