Article Examines Coverage of Biosimilars

A recent article published in JAMA examines how commercial health plans cover biosimilars compared to their reference products.

While Congress in 2010 approved a quicker pipeline for biosimilars, the authors write, “it is unclear whether and how health plans prioritize coverage of these products.”
