African Biotech Conversations: New Podcast by Adrienne Leussa

In the first episode of the podcastAfrican Biotech Solutions, Adrienne Leussa, PhD biochemist in South Africa, interviews Chris Connor, the Life Science Marketing Radio host. The two discussed the ins and outs of biotech podcasting and the opportunities and challenges facing the African biotech community. In addition, they highlight an ongoing project to sequence the genomes of three million African people.

Adrienne says the goal of her podcast is to “expose what is happening in Africa right now in the biotech space and to strengthen the growing community or ecosystem of biotechnology in Africa. So, it’s a passion project.”
